5 days in Paris with LILOO
(This sit was decided through Nomador, not THS)
Liloo, a 8 years old Bengal, is a very vocal feline who welcomes you loudly when you go back home. Or when it's time you feed her.
This thin cute cat looks like a mini tiger, a mini leopard with her darker brown spots on her beige coat and orange chest.
Adopted in France, Liloo moved with her french owner, Julie, to New-York, then came back to Paris a year ago
She was quite stressed by all these changes of life (the moves to different countries, long flights trips, new flats and the arrival of a new baby boy then another baby girl).
Liloo could become easily anxious with strangers,. I took that photograph while she was simply yawning, but I never dared to send it to her master !Julie could have found she looked really scared...
I had been told she might feel blue too, missing the whole family while they were going on a short holiday to Spain.

She obviously looked quite neurasthenic when she saw the family's suitcases in the morning and hid the whole afternoon under the sofa, the first day i was alone with her.

I was obliged to crawl on the floor to take some pictures in order to send them to Julie in order to confort her !!

I never left her for long : I know Paris by heart, having lived there since my childhood before moving to the south of France.
I was not behaving like a tourist, I spent a lot of time with her, reading. I managed to draw her attention with a little treat. But did not dare to give her too many (2 per day only)
Curious like all cats,
Liloo, watched for hours the scenery over the Seine . Fascinated by the move of the leaves in the tall trees facing the building, boats over the river, noisy pedestrians in the street.
She stayed for hours there, sleeping often inside the kids' tipi or near
their toys box. She went more rarely to her straw nest.

Which was cat shaped like all bowls for her.
Although she was allowed to stay on the long balcony, I left the large windows open only when i was next to her, afraid she might want to jump on a bird and fall 4 floors below : a creepy perspective...
She looked at me when I watered the plants but did not stay long near me. It was rather hot outside in august.
Liloo was quite shy : it took her 2 days to accept to be cuddled, scratched under her chin or behind her ears. She began to purr. Lightly. She just jumped on the floor to let me know when she desagreeded... She did not like much to be taken in my arms !
Although I had left the door of "my" room open, she showed up only the first evening to smell my clothes in my suitase (I own a dog and 2 cats). As I love to read in bed, I tried to call her when I went to bed: she responded meowing but remained far from me, in the living room.
She decided to visit me on the following day, hesitating and finally sleeping between my legs !
She accepted I touched her, she sniffed my fingers, she kissed them : at last, we had become friends.
